HEINEKEN Ethiopia Invests 33 million ETB in Livelihood Improvement Project

HEINEKEN Ethiopia is proud to announce a significant milestone in our commitment to sustainable development and inclusive growth. With a total investment of 33 million ETB, we have successfully launched a livelihood improvement project that is directly transforming the lives of 75 families in Kilinto and Koye Feche.

In collaboration with our implementing partner, MSD, as well as local government representatives, beneficiaries, and community members, we recently celebrated the official handover of the Koye Feche Livelihood Project. This initiative is now enabling 45 households to generate sustainable income through dairy farming, animal fattening, and poultry production.

The Koye Feche project builds on the earlier success in Kilinto, where 30 households are already benefiting from the same program. Together, these initiatives reflect our belief that true growth is shared growth that empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and creates long-term opportunities.

At HEINEKEN Ethiopia, we are committed to delivering impact that lasts. This project is a strong example of how public-private partnerships and community collaboration can pave the way for meaningful change, fostering resilience and economic independence for generations to come.
